OVERVIEW

Marketplace platforms are becoming the main hub for buying used/new items and selling products that you don’t need anymore. Customers are gravitating towards such platforms because of the superior convenience and security they provide. Our client also came to Branex with an idea to develop an innovative and modern user-to-user platform where users can place ads pertaining to real estate, housing, goods, transportation, gadgets, etc, while connecting them to buyers who are interested in purchasing the product. Anybody is allowed to post a free ad on the site and leave their contact information. All they have to do is sit back and wait for a buyer to call. On the other hand, buyers can browse around, see a variety of products, negotiate on price, and see value in the product before the final transaction.

CHALLENGE

  • The app should have a strong backend system to support the huge amount of data from the buyers and sellers.
  • Most marketplaces have experienced safety issues and data leakage in the past, which leads to a lack of customer trust. Thus, the idea was to make Tycoon safer to offer a competitive advantage.
  • Marketplace platforms see thousands of sellers and buyers. Thus developing an app that enables both sides to find each other easily can help the app gain more users.
  • The payment system also needs to be as flexible as possible. The app needed to offer different payment modes such as credit, debit cards, and e-wallets.
  • The client wanted an app with an aesthetically pleasing interface and an alluring design with unhindered functionalities.

  • The Tycoon app is developed with a strong MySQL database system to ensure comprehensive support for the app.
  • We focused on building the app with multiple functionalities for the buyers and sellers. Our app development team molded the app with advanced security .features to prevent data leaks and ensure smooth programmability.
  • We made sure the app is equipped with a user-friendly interface and functions that help users find their desired products using filters. We also added the feature of live chat to facilitate seamless in-app communication between buyers and sellers.

  • You can also specify your location so that only products that are selling near you or in any specific city appear on your feed.

  • Users can create an account using Facebook or Google account.
  • Users can search for geo-location-based classifieds listings, Discover “Ads near you” or even view ad listings by real-time location. Users can apply different filters to narrow down their search queries to help them get specific results. Users can also view the related product at the end of the product page.
  • The app allows users to create wishlists and favorites, and add products to their wishlist, as well ask a query regarding a listed product.
  • Users can send invites or share ads on social media.
  • Buyers will be able to view contact number and the email address of the seller or agent and contact them via call or whatsapp.
  • Sellers can post an ad by entering complete product details, pictures, as well as contact information in addition to selecting category from the list and the purpose. For instance, if user selects the category “Property” then the user chooses the attribute (e.g. for sale, for rent etc.) from the list. Sellers are required to select location by entering postal code or selecting via google map, enter their personal details and hit “post my Ad” to finish.
